For example, the following command line configures a static route to destination
3.2.4.5/255.255.0.0 with default values for static route parameeters. The next-hop
address is 2.2.2.4, and the cost is set to four hops.
ip# static-route address 3.2.4.5 mask 255.255.0.0 next-hop-address
2.2.2.4
static-route/3.2.4.5/255.255.0.0/2.2.2.4# cost 4

Using Site Manager
Site Manager Procedure

Protocols

The Protocols menu opens.
2. Choose
IP
. The IP menu opens.
3. Choose
Static Routes
. The IP Static Routes window opens.
4. Click on
Add
. The IP Configuration window opens.
5. Set the following parameters:

Destination IP Address
•
Address Mask
•
Cost
•
Next Hop Addr
•
Next Hop Mask
•
Preference
•
Unnumbered CCT Name
Click on
Help
or see the parameter
descriptions beginning on page A-47.
6. Click on
OK
. Site Manager returns you to the IP Static
