Testing an alarm

Use the following procedure to test an alarm.

Step Action

1 Click the Administration tab.

2 Open the General folder, and then click the Alarm Settings task.

The Alarm Settings pane opens.

3 In the Alarm Settings table, select an alarm.

4 Click the Test Alarm button.

In the Alarms table, “Test Event” is displayed in the alarm Problem

Description field.
