You conﬁgure hybrid mode by enabling the hybrid mode service record

parameter. See Chapter 3, “Customizing Frame Relay,” for instructions.

Default Service Record

The router creates the ﬁrst service record automatically. This ﬁrst service record is

called the default service record. Any PVCs that are not associated with a

conﬁgured service record use the default service record.

Version 11.01 of Bay Networks Router Software supports the following

• Data compression

• Data link switching (DLSw)

• DECnet Phase IV Routing Protocol

• Distance Vector Multicast Routing Protocol (DVMRP)

• Dynamic Host Conﬁguration Protocol (DHCP)
