Installing the HSSI Net Module in a System 5000 Platform

Seat the module by rotating both inserter/extractor levers toward the

center of the module front panel to the horizontal position (F

igure 1-7).

Use a ﬂat-tip screwdriver to tighten the captive screws at the top and

bottom of the module front panel.

Note: Tighten the captive screws so they are snug. Overtightening the screws

may damage the chassis or the router module.
