Client upgrade methods
Upgrading the mobile client software takes place in a number of ways:
• You place the software on a file server, notify the users where to locate the files, and have
the users upgrade their devices from their computer.
• You place the software on a file server, give the users the Uniform Resource Locator
(URL) to the server, and have the users upgrade their devices over the air.
• For Avaya 3100 Mobile Communicator - Client for BlackBerry users only, you can push
the software through the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). For more information, see
