ST2 Parameters
This section describes the ST2 global, interface, and Neighbors Forwarding Table
parameters.
ST2 Global Parameters
Parameter: Enable
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > ST2 > Global
Default: Enable
Options: Enable
| Disable
Function: Determines whether ST2 is enabled on the slot.
Instructions: By default, the router starts ST2 on the slot when you configure an ST2
interface on a circuit. If you do not want ST2 to be started on the slot, select
Disable.

Parameter: Tunnelling Capability
Path: Configuration Manager > Protocols > IP > ST2 > Global
Default: No
Options: Yes
| No
Function: Specifies whether ST2 can use a tunnel to establish a neighbor-to-neighbor
connection.
Instructions: By default, ST2 does not have tunneling capability. If your network requires
the use of tunnels, select Yes.
