Supplying Override Values for a BGP Accept Policy
You can use the BCC or Site Manager to supply values that BGP can use to set or
override an attribute in a BGP update that matches the policy.
Using the BCC
Navigate to the policy-specific prompt and enter:
set
A set prompt appears for the policy. For example:
accept/pol_1//jointfilesconvert/96470/bgp#
set
set//jointfilesconvert/96470/bgp/accept/pol_1#
To supply an override value, enter:
override_parameter value
override_parameter value
is one of the parameter/value pairs described in
Table 8-6.
For example, the following command specifies “override” as the method for
accept policy pol_1:
set//jointfilesconvert/96470/bgp/accept/pol_1#
med-method
override
set//jointfilesconvert/96470/bgp/accept/pol_1#
