Assigning an Access List to a Port
To validate a frame that is attempting to exit through an NML port, the port
consults an access list. If the CUGID on the frame matches a CUGID on the list,
the port takes the action you have specified: forwarding the frame and discarding
the CUGID, forwarding the frame and retaining the CUGID, or dropping the
frame.
You create an inclusive list or an exclusive list for each NML port that supports the
closed user group. When the port finds a match on an inclusive list, it forwards the
frame. When the NML port finds a match on an exclusive list, it drops the frame.
To assign an access list to a port so that you can specify a start and end range of
CUGIDs for the circuit on which the port is located:

Click on Security List.

Select the circuit to which you want to add an access list.

Click on Add to add a security range.
