Clearing the Forwarding Table
You can instruct the router to delete all addresses in the transparent bridge’s
forwarding table without bringing the bridge down and back up. To delete all
addresses, navigate to the global bridge prompt and enter:
clear-forward-table

state
is one of the following:
yes
no
Specify
yes
to delete all the addresses in the forwarding table. If you want to
delete all the addresses again later, set this parameter back to
no
and then to
yes
again.
For example, the following command deletes all the addresses in the forwarding
table:
bridge#
clear-forward-table yes

This section describes how to use the BCC to configure bridging on an interface.
Disabling and Reenabling the Bridge on an Interface
To disable transparent bridging on an interface, navigate to the appropriate
interface bridge prompt and enter:
state disabled
For example, the following command disables transparent bridging on an
interface:
bridge/ethernet/2/1#
state disabled
To reenable transparent bridging on the interface, navigate to the appropriate
interface bridge prompt and enter:
state enabled
