Changing the Active Volume

Use the cd command to change the active volume, as follows:

<vol> is the slot number of the volume:

The system displays the new active volume.

If you enter the cd command without specifying a volume, the system displays the

present working directory, as follows:

frediag.exe A copy of the diagnostics image resident on the diagnostics

PROM of a BLN, BLN-2, or BCN router. You cannot read or

change this ﬁle.

freboot.exe A copy of the bootstrap image resident on the bootstrap PROM

of a BLN, BLN-2, or BCN router. You cannot read or change this

ﬁle.

install.bat A script ﬁle that you use during the initial startup.

ti.cfg A conﬁguration ﬁle containing the MIB variables associated with

the default Technician Interface console operating parameters.

This ﬁle contains the minimal conﬁguration necessary to operate

the router. This ﬁle is stored in binary format.
