The Subscribe Push Type

Priorities and States

Normal and barge priorities are not applicable to the Subscribe push type.

The Subscription service is initialized during registration or the IP telephone boot-up process.

Once the telephone is properly registered (logged in) with the media server, the telephone

subscribes to the server listed in the SUBSCRIBELIST parameter.

Successful Push Response

If the phone is in a pushable state, the Push Agent sends the Push Initiator the following

response for all Push request modes and all Push request types:

Subscribe XML Messages

The following sections describe how to send a re-subscription Push request.

Subscribe Push Message (PM)

The first step in sending a Subscribe push is to send an HTTP POST request from the Push

Initiator to the Push Agent in the telephone. Following is the format of the XML Message (PM)

sent from the Push Initiator to the Push Agent:
