Starting RMON and RMON2

To begin using RMON and RMON2 for data collection on BayStack routers, you

must enable the Ethernet DCM using the default configuration.

To start RMON and RMON2 on Ethernet DCM-enabled AN/ANH and ARN

routers, use Site Manager to perform the following tasks:

• Prepare a configuration file.

• Configure the Ethernet DCM.

Preparing a Configuration File

To create a configuration file, complete the following steps:

Site Manager Procedure
