violation error event is a P-bit
Parity Error event. A P-bit Parity Error event occurs when the DS-3/
E-3 M-frame receives a P-bit code that is not identical to the
correspondin
g
locally calculated code.

violations reported via the C-bits. For C-bit Parity, it is a
count of C-bit parity errors occurrin
