Modifying the DNS Server List

The DNS server list contains the DNS servers (up to a maximum of three) that the

DNS client can query. You can display the server list, and add entries to, and

delete entries from the it.

Displaying the DNS Server List

You can view the list of DNS servers to which the router can connect using either

the BCC or Site Manager.

Using the BCC

To use the BCC to view the list of all DNS servers to which the router can

connect, navigate to the dns prompt and enter the following command:

dns# show dns server

DNS Servers:

----------------

Server Address Port

-----------------------------------------

1 1.1.1.1 53

2 2.2.2.2 54

3 3.3.3.3 55

To view the information for an individual DNS server, enter the following:

dns# name-server number <

server_number

address

server_number

is the number (1 to 3) of the DNS server.

• Ignore Truncation Error

• Use Auth Answer Only
