Appendix A
Site Manager Parameters
This appendix contains the Site Manager parameter descriptions for TCP, FTP,
TFTP, Telnet, NTP, DNS, NetBIOS, and IP accounting. You can display the same
information using Site Manager online Help.
For each parameter, this appendix provides the following information:
• Parameter name
• Configuration Manager menu path
• Default setting
• Valid parameter options
• Parameter function
• Instructions for setting the parameter
• Management information base (MIB) object ID
The Technician Interface allows you to modify parameters by issuing
set
and
commit
commands with the MIB object ID. This process is equivalent to
modifying parameters using Site Manager. For more information about using the
Technician Interface to access the MIB, see Using Technician Interface Software.
Caution:
The Technician Interface does not verify the validity of your
parameter values. Entering an invalid value can corrupt your configuration.
