Navigating the BCC to an IP Interface Prompt
Beginning at the prompt for the slot/connector on which you have configured the
IP interface, enter:
ip address
ip_address
mask
address_mask
ip_address is the IP address you have assigned to the interface.
address_mask is the mask associated with the IP address.
The prompt for the IP interface appears.
To display the current (default) values of the parameters for this interface, enter:
info
For example, the following command sequence:
1. Invokes the prompt for IP interface 2.2.2.2/255.0.0.0 (which has been
configured on Ethernet slot 2, connector 2).
2. Displays the current parameter values for IP interface 2.2.2.2.
ethernet/2/2# ip address 2.2.2.2 mask 255.0.0.0
ip/2.2.2.2/255.0.0.0# info
on ethernet/2/2
