Parameter: Pass Thru Local Address
Default: None
Options: Any unique MAC address of exactly 12 hexadecimal digits
Function: Assigns a MAC address to the local interface. This address becomes the
source address of packets that are bridged to the destination MAC
address. You assign the destination MAC address with the Pass Thru
Remote Address parameter.
Instructions: Enter a unique MAC address for the local interface, making sure that the
second digit is a zero, for example, 10fffabc5432.
Be sure to reverse the local and remote MAC addresses at the remote
synchronous pass-through interface.
