2. Type a value for the Peer IP Address parameter.

Click on OK.
This saves the new entry. The DLSw Peer Configuration window reappears
(refer to Figure 5-8) with the new entry in the list of existing peers.
4. Click on Done.
The Configuration Manager window reappears.
Parameter: Peer IP Address
Default: None
Options: Any valid, 32-bit IP address in the form network.host (using dotted
decimal notation)
Function: Specifies the IP address of a remote DLSw peer. Adding this address to
the DLSw IP Peer Table defines a configured peer to the local router.
Configured peers receive all DLSw-related broadcast frames from the
local router.
Instructions: Type the IP address at which the configured peer should receive all
DLSw-related broadcast frames.
MIB Object ID: 1.3.6.1.4.1.18.3.5.1.5.5.1.3
Note: Do not enter the IP address of any DLSw peer (slot) that resides in the
local router.
