Using Site Manager
To set the give-up time, complete the following tasks:
Setting the Valid Interval for Replies to Resolution Requests
The default holding time determines how long the client considers resolution
replies held in the local cache as valid. By default, the value is 20 minutes.
However, you can set this value from 1 to 120 minutes using either the BCC or
Site Manager.
Site Manager Procedure
You do this System responds
1. In the Configuration Manager window,
click on the ATM interface (
ATM1
) that you
want to modify.
The Select Connection Type window
opens.
2. Click on
ATM
. The Edit ATM Connector window opens.
3. Click on
MPOA Server Attributes
. The MPOA Service Record window
opens.
4. Click on
MPS
. The MPS List window opens.
5. Click on the MPS that you want to modify.
6. Set the
Give Up Time
parameter. Click on
Help
or see the parameter description on
page A-10.
7. Click on
Done
. You return to the MPOA Service Record
window.
8. Click on
Done
. You return to the Edit ATM Connector
window.
9. Click on
Done
. You return to the Select Connection Type
window.
10. Click on
Done
. You return to the Configuration Manager
window.
