Using the BCC

To specify address type and length:

Address Type

To specify the address type:

Navigate to the frame-relay prompt.

For example:

box; serial/1/2; frame-relay/1/2

Enter the

address-type

command and the value you want the network to

use.

address-type

<value>

The legal values are:

q922-march

q922-november

q921

q922march90

q922november90

q922

(the default)

For example, the following command line sets the address type to q921:

frame-relay/1/2# address-type q921

frame-relay/1/2#

Address Length

To specify the address length:

Navigate to the frame-relay prompt.

For example:

box; serial/1/2; frame-relay/1/2

Enter the

address-length

command and the value you want the network

to use.

address-length

is a value of 2, 3, or 4 (bytes).
