Customizing Frame Relay Interfaces

Using the BCC
To specify a management protocol, navigate to the dlcmi prompt (for example,
box; serial/1/2; frame-relay/1/2; dlcmi) and enter:
management-type
<value>
value
can be:
none
lmi
annex-d
(the default)
annex-a
lmi-switch
annex-d-switch
annex-a-switch
For example, the following command line changes the management type from
Annex D Switch to LMI Switch:
dlcmi/1/2# management-type lmi-switch
dlcmi/1/2#
Using Site Manager
To specify a management protocol, complete the following tasks:

window opens.

Interfaces

parameter. Click on
Help

Apply
