To add a physical synchronous line to an existing circuit on which you have

configured protocols:

Site Manager Procedure

You do this System responds

1. Start at the Configuration Manager

window.

2. Click on the connector of the circuit to

which you are adding lines.

The Edit Connector window opens.

3. Click on

Edit Circuit

. The Circuit Definition window opens

4. Click on the connectors you are adding to

the circuit.

Site Manager highlights the connectors

you choose. For example, Figure 9-4

illustrates the addition of COM2 to the

circuit S42, which already uses

connectors COM3 and COM4.

5. Choose

Lines > Change Lines

(Figure 9-5)

. If you want to change the

traffic distribution method, go to “Changing

the Traffic Distribution Method” later in this

chapter.

The lines now form one circuit. The

default traffic distribution method is based

on the address.

6. Choose

File > Exit

to exit the Circuit

Definition window.
