Managing Line Resources

Starting the LRM
To enable the LRM for reserving and allocating bandwidth:
1. Start at the Configuration Manager window.
2. Click on the circuit connector.
Select any XCVR (10-Mb/s or 100-Mb/s Ethernet), HSSI, MCT1, or COM
connector for a line that is configured for ST2.
3. Unless you selected an MCT1 connector, go to Step 6.
The MCT1 Logical Lines window appears
(Figure 8-1).

4. Select the Line Resources box.
