Data Module is being used
to connect to the switch and
BCMS Vu is not
communicating with the
data module.
Check communication
between PC and data module
using a terminal emulator such
as HyperTerminal™. Refer to
“Using a Terminal Emulator”
on page 10-39.
The serial port specified to
connect to the data module
is connected to something
else or is not connected.
Specify correct serial port in
Server Configuration Wizard.
Server is intentionally not
connected to DEFINITY
system.
Start BCMS Vu Simulator to
run BCMS Vu Server and
Client with randomly
generated data.
